I have some exciting news…
I’m thrilled to announce that Dooly and Mediafly are joining forces to make the lives of sellers even more productive and effective.
How we got here
It’s been quite the journey getting to this point. A few years ago, I left my job with three kids under 10, a hefty mortgage, and plenty of jitters about the future. After nine years at my previous company, helping them soar from startup to over $100 million in annual recurring revenue, it was time for a reset.
The startup world has always had a pull for me – jumping in early means the chance to shape, to pioneer… to try new things and solve problems.
So, I began a quest that ended up turning into the Dooly you have at your hands today.
Life can toss you plenty of curveballs. The more you go through, the better you get at either hitting them or sensing when they’re coming. My curveball moment with Dooly began quite innocuously – sitting down with a former colleague to lend a hand with his startup. As we bounced ideas around about the requirements of stakeholders regarding competitive intelligence, a persistent theme kept cropping up: the urgent, in-the-moment needs of sales teams.
“Kris, we seem to struggle to get information to and from sales people in a timely, repeatable fashion. How have you enforced CRM compliance in the past so that we have visibility into what sales has been up to?”
I was familiar with that pain. I lived it. Twenty plus years in sales, working my way up from an AE to a leadership role.
This push and pull between the needs of the business and the needs of the sales team is why we started Dooly.
What started as a note taking tool to help sellers update Salesforce faster, Dooly has evolved into a true deal workspace to bring the revenue team together and work more efficiently and collaboratively, while sharing information with the people and systems that need to know.
With Dooly, I’ve seen sellers become the best versions of themselves, selling with consistency. And more interestingly, I’ve seen happy sales executives and leaders with the right level of visibility and information to talk about their team’s book of business with confidence.
This has been the fuel that has propelled Dooly’s trajectory over the past eight years.

More importantly, though, are the Dooligans that came to work every day, relentlessly focused on solving user problems and making work so, so, so much fun every single day. From the earliest of people that joined us (you know who you are) to those that joined along the way, I am incredibly lucky and grateful to have worked with each of you and thankful that you took a chance on Dooly, and ultimately, on me.

We often said when people would leave that they were a Dooligan for life (BTW, it’s the best name for a group of employees, allowing for unparalleled passion, rebelliousness, and fun)…that doesn’t change.
There are a few people that supported me through it all, though. From the darkest days of my father’s illness to the uncertain days of Covid, their belief in me was unwavering and their selflessness was unrelenting while I selfishly pursued something that required much of my time, attention, and care.
To my wife and my kids, I’m so incredibly fortunate you were in my corner to buoy me up and celebrate alongside me at all the key moments.
Each of you inspires me to be a better version of myself and you make me so proud to be a dad and husband.
